*"Mybachi" Refers to Taiko no Tatsujin Official Mybachi

How to Use Mybachi
Always firmly secure the straps around your wrists before use.
Modifications Forbidden
Never modify Mybachi in any way. Doing so can render them unsafe for use and is therefore expressly forbidden. Prohibited modifications include, but are not limited to, shaving, reshaping, varnishing, adding bumps, and wrapping with cloth.
Resale for Profit Prohibited
・Purchases for the purpose of resale to a third party for profit are prohibited.
・Any party discovered to have resold Mybachi for profit, or attempted to do so, may be banned from ordering Mybachi in the future.

Usage at Official
Taiko no Tatsujin
Tournaments or Events (Rules)

For official tournaments or events, players may use the drumsticks attached to the active unit, Mybachi sold from 2016 onward, or Mybachi sold from 2021 onward.
However, use of modified Mybachi is not permitted.

Mybachi Tournaments or Events Play Checklist
  • ① Are the official wrist-straps attached?
  • ② Are sticks branded with the Taiko no Tatsujin logo?
  • ③ Is tape properly applied to the grips?
    *Tape must not cover the logo.
    *Tape must not be applied anywhere between the logo and the tip.
    *Tape on the grip may be replaced or applied in multiple layers.
    *Mybachi may not be used without tape applied to the grip.
  • ④ Have you confirmed there are no significant changes to the Mybachi's shape?
  • ⑤ Have the wooden parts of the Mybachi been altered in any way (shaved, modified, varnished, applied with bumps, wrapped in cloth, etc.)? Exception: If it is outside of the area within 10cm from the tip of the Mybachi, you can write your name or apply stickers with your name on them.
    *You cannot use any solvents or other liquids that might damage the wood.
    *You cannot use stickers to change the weight or balance of the Mybachi/drumsticks.

My Bachi will not be approved for tournaments or events play unless all of the above conditions are met.
In addition to the above, tournaments or events organizers may prohibit the use of any Mybachi they judge to be unsafe. In that event, please use the drumsticks attached to the active unit.
